developing
and implementing business and technology strategies for media and
entertainment
clients. Owen began his career as a Senior Consultant in the
Manufacturing and Distribution Group at Andersen Consulting. As

analyst, he specialized in technology assimilation, organizational
change, and
systems development for his clients.
Owen earned his B.B.A., with a dual degree in Finance and Honors

and his

Michael Pollack
Michael
joined Overbrook Consulting as a co-managing partner in 2007. He
specializes in
assisting clients with their most difficult operations and technology
issues. His expertise includes business,
operations, and technology strategy, reengineering, and project and
program
management. Recent projects included a cross-organization
restructuring and cost reduction for a major financial services firm, a
business
unit
strategy for a leading financial and health information provider, strategy
development
for a global media and entertainment company and a strategy study on the
impact of the economic downturn for a major insurance company.
Michael
has had extensive experience in consulting and line management across a
broad
range of companies. Prior to the Overbrook Consulting, Michael ran
Pollack
Services Group, Ltd., a family-owned insurance brokerage firm. Michael
ran Corporate
Service Division at Register.com, where he grew revenue 300% and
restructured
the operations, consolidated and relocated several key functions, and
led the
implementation of a new system. At American Express, Michael led the
development of online capabilities for the Small Business Services area. He also developed marketing programs to
acquire new customers and to increase the current customers’ usage of
American
Express products. In over nine years at Booz Allen Hamilton, Michael
led many
engagements which delivered significant results for his clients. These included developing a technology and
operating support plan for a private banking and asset management
company, e valuating
the outsourcing of trade processing and clearing for a major brokerage
firm and
leading the information technology efforts that were part of an overall
transformation program for one of the largest multi-line insurance
companies.
Michael
has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor
of Arts
in Computer Science, magna cum laude, from Princeton University.
In
addition to Mr. Nieberg and Mr. Pollack, Overbrook Consulting employs a
range of
talented and
experience management consultants with expertise across a broad range
of
industries and functional areas. These
staff members have all had extensive experience and major consulting
firms such
as Booz Allen & Hamilton, McKinsey and Accenture. Unlike larger
consulting
organizations, we DO NOT use newly graduated students whose
contribution to an
assignment is to simply use it as a glorified and subsidized training
ground.
We
work closely with our clients to explicitly identify the precise needs
and
experience levels required for each assignment and then carefully
identify
potential staff that would be best suited to address the task at hand. Frequently, we provide our clients with a
number of staffing alternatives and allow them to jointly select the
members of
the project team.
